Wire subfloors are very useful to prevent leg splay in baby martins, which is fatal! Also, keeping the nest off of the floor of the house will improve drainage and keep the nest dry.

The galvanized wire subfloors fit inside the compartments of the Sunset Inn House and Trendsetter houses and any other compartment will accommodate the 10-1/2" wide by 5-1/4" deep by 1/4" tall subfloor.
